Review:

Amazing film. This was my first time watching a film where I had read the book first, and I’m glad that I did. The film is very accurate to the book, and I think they did a very good job. There were obviously loads of things that they cut out of the film, but I think they made pretty good decisions on things to cut that didn’t take away from the story. I will say, I think that I hyped this film up a little too much for myself. I thought that I was going to walk out with it being my favourite film ever, and I didn’t feel that way. But it was an amazing film that I really loved. The only thing that I didn’t like was the music; I thought that it felt quite disconnected from the story and what was happening, and I’ve never thought that about music in a film before.
